WHAT WE DO

OUR  SERVICES
The club strives to help the school community in helping themselves to become self reliant in knowledge, skills and attitudes towards environmental management.  The involved programmes are:
  • -         Researching, Empowerment and Support.
  • -         Afforestation.
  • -         Bee keeping.
  • -         Land use and conservation.
  • -         Campus surroundings’ management.
  • -         Networking
  • -         Consultancy 
We Believe:
Young people are increasingly aware of the challenges and opportunities that the necessary transition to low carbon growth entails and many are joining hands, getting involved and taking action.

Young people must undergo educational programmes  on conserving our nature, promoting renewable energy, adopting environmentally friendly practices and implementing adaptation and mitigation projects.

We believe in the creativity of young people, their talents in search of innovative solutions to climate change. Eager and energetic youth are at the centre of designing measures to mitigate climate change work.  

This club was founded out of the real needs of our time and the future. It essentially seeks to provide a common working and sharing ground where teachers and students' skills, talents, attitudes, understanding springing from learning Geography are developed and utilized for common action.

In this club we provide a rare opportunity where students can share and develop their talents for the better future of their lives and for the planet earth which is our home.

OUR OBJECTIVES:
  1.  To tap and utilize fully student's talents and personal integrity for conservation of natural resources.
  2. Prepare opportunities for the acquisition of practical knowledge, skills, attitudes on the earth's  environment.
  3. Prepare a new generation of leaders leading the community for life and environment on the planet earth.
  4. We Prepare students to take responsible actions towards the earth and its environment.
  5. We demonstrate abilities to use natural resources sustainably  to raise the livelihood conditions of our people.
  6. We prepare young people to demonstrate social skills to successfully compete in the labour market within a globalized world.
OUR GOAL:
Building a bright and healthier society, disease free and capable of sustainable environmental conservation for sustainable development.

KEEP TANZANIA CLEAN

THE REFRESHED KEEP TANZANIA CLEAN  Despite the efforts underway Tanzania has not been transformed into cleaner and greener environment for people to enjoy. We still experience litter in public places, dirty habitats etc.  Tanzanians have not taken responsibility for keeping the environment clean. Most of us throw out trash and then forget about it. There is a large increase in level of trash we generate means that we are unable to manage it in many parts of the world especially our towns and cities. The refreshed Keep Tanzania clean effort  (RKTC) The refreshed Keep Tanzania clean effort   represents a renewed Effort to instil in students a sense of responsibility and respect for clean environment including public places. We believe   A Better future, greener and cleaner Tanzania Starts with You It allows students to gain an appreciation of what it takes to keep Tanzania clean, the consequence of littering and how their personal behavior affects the environment.
