THE REFRESHED KEEP TANZANIA CLEAN 

Despite the efforts underway Tanzania has not been transformed into cleaner and greener environment for people to enjoy. We still experience litter in public places, dirty habitats etc.  Tanzanians have not taken responsibility for keeping the environment clean.

Most of us throw out trash and then forget about it. There is a large increase in level of trash we generate means that we are unable to manage it in many parts of the world especially our towns and cities.

The refreshed Keep Tanzania clean effort  (RKTC)

The refreshed Keep Tanzania clean effort  represents a renewed Effort to instil in students a sense of responsibility and respect for clean environment including public places. We believe  A Better future, greener and cleaner Tanzania Starts with You

It allows students to gain an appreciation of what it takes to keep Tanzania clean, the consequence of littering and how their personal behavior affects the environment.

By deepening student’s knowledge and understanding of these issues, the RKTC will enable students to reflect on how their everyday actions have an impact on their surrounding environment and encourage them to act for truly Clean Tanzania.

COMPONENTS OF THE REFRESHED KEEP TANZANIA CLEAN 

• RAISE AWARENESS We want Students to understand the everyone needs to play a part and take action to keep the environment clean, develop Tanzania cleanliness story and discover how others are doing their part to be responsible for the environment.
• ENCOURAGE ACTION: Commitment to act for a clean Tanzania. To take visible measures to ensure action
•  INSPIRE PRIDE:  Connect students emotionally with a clean Tanzania and show that they can care for the environment in many small ways which will collectively make a big difference in the community.
